Little TV ad action last week

Totals: Six Denver TV stations now have contracted for more than $13.5 million in political ads through Nov. 4. That’s 107 hours of advertising, and it doesn’t include cable, satellite or stations outside Denver. Here’s a look by affiliation.

The news: Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS will start airing ads Wednesday after Colorado’s primary elections, probably in opposition to Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Udall and in support of his GOP challenger Rep. Cory Gardner. Udall, Gardner and the Senate Majority PAC also are airing ads. Meanwhile, KWGN joined five other Denver stations in reporting ads this week. Here’s a look at ads by buyer:
